FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
Everything students, faculty and institutions ask most often.
General
What is ENGNEXIS?
ENGNEXIS runs practical AI and automation workshops and programs for engineers, with a specialization in applied AI for mechanical engineering: reliability, condition monitoring, vibration analysis and rotating equipment.
Which branches is this for?
All of them. The core workshop works for mechanical, electrical, electronics, chemical, civil, computer science and other branches. Mechanical engineering also has a deeper specialized program.
Do I need coding experience?
No. The core workshop is about using AI effectively, not building or training models. Some programs include an optional Python track.
How is AI accuracy handled?
Verification is part of every session. Participants learn to check AI output, spot errors and keep human judgment in charge, especially for engineering decisions.
Formats & scheduling
When is the next session?
Sessions are scheduled on demand with each institution. Once dates are confirmed with your college, registered students are notified.
What formats are available?
A 90-minute AI orientation, a 4-hour hands-on workshop, a 1-day intensive, a 2-day bootcamp, a faculty development program (3 or 5 days) and customized corporate and plant training. See the formats page for details.
Can a session be customised?
Yes. Agenda, branch focus and format are shaped with each institution or team.
For institutions
How does a campus session work?
You send an enquiry, we hold a short scoping call, agree the format and branch focus together, set dates with you, students register, and we deliver online, on campus or hybrid.
What does the college need to provide?
Typically a venue with a projector and reliable internet, and participants with laptops. We share a short requirements checklist during scoping.
How do fees work?
Fees depend on format, mode and batch size and are shared after a short scoping call.
Online or on campus?
Either, or a mix. We recommend on campus for hands-on formats where practical.
For students
How do I register?
Sessions are arranged with your institution. You can register your interest, and we will let you know when your college's dates are confirmed.
Do I need my own laptop?
For hands-on formats, yes, a laptop is best. Details are shared before each session.
Certificates
Do participants get a certificate?
Yes. Participants in workshops and shorter formats receive an ENGNEXIS Certificate of Training recognising their successful completion and participation in the hands-on learning experience. Programs with a required capstone, such as Applied AI for Mechanical Engineers, award an ENGNEXIS Certificate of Completion.
Data & privacy
